This project serves as her debut album and offers a journey through memories, emotions, and experiences that have left a mark on how she views the present.

“Memory” is built upon a familiar idea: what we experience doesn't disappear entirely, but rather remains in fragments, images, and sensations. The EP seems interested in observing how memories accompany, transform, and sometimes condition the way a person understands their own history. From this perspective, the title functions not only as the project's name, but also as a gateway to a collection of songs imbued with nostalgia, sensitivity, and a certain search for emotional clarity.

The EP's six songs invite us to consider memory as a sum of distinct moments. Each track seems to occupy a place within that journey: an emotion, a stage of life, or a recurring image. The material presents the album as an intimate and evocative work, where Julia Debis transforms personal experiences into songs that foster a sense of connection. The focus is on songwriting that seeks to connect through relatability, rather than through excess or dramatization.

One of the most significant aspects of the release is its audiovisual dimension. All the songs are accompanied by music videos filmed in a single, continuous take. This decision allows the EP to be understood not merely as a collection of songs, but as a narrative project where each story flows into the next. Working with Bolazo Films, Julia Debis unites each piece through a visual continuity that reinforces the idea of memory as a chain of connected scenes.

Musically, the available material doesn't specify genres or instruments, so the analysis must focus on the project's emotional approach. "La Memoria" presents itself as a work marked by sensitive lyrics, reflective melodies, and a carefully crafted sonic identity. This combination places the EP within the realm of intimate songs, where the emphasis isn't solely on the sound, but also on how each track relates to a lived experience.

The editorial interest of this release lies in how Julia Debis presents her debut album as a cohesive work. Instead of featuring isolated songs, “La Memoria” proposes a structure where music and video work together to construct a single emotional universe. The semicolon between stories is particularly significant: it doesn't mark an absolute closure, but rather a pause that allows for continuation. Thus, each song seems to form part of a memory that doesn't end, but rather transforms.

“La Memoria” is now available on digital platforms. The EP features Julia Debis in a project where memories, emotions, and audiovisual images intertwine to construct an intimate and ordered experience. Analysis ends where listening begins.
